In one embodiment, the microorganism is from the genus Burkholderia. In one embodiment, the microorganism is Burkholderia arboris, or Burkholderia cepacia complex, or the like. In one embodiment, the microorganism of the present disclosure has an ability to assimilate trans fatty acid. In one embodiment, the microorganism of the present disclosure has an ability to decompose trans fatty acid. In one embodiment, the microorganism of the present disclosure has an ability to decompose trans fatty acid-containing oil and fat. In one embodiment, the microorganism of the present disclosure has an ability to assimilate trans fatty acid-containing oil and fat.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A bacterium in family Burkholderiaceae, having an ability to assimilate or decompose trans fatty acid-containing oil and fat or trans fatty acid.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The bacterium in the family Burkholderiaceae of claim 1, having an ability to assimilate trans fatty acid.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The bacterium in the family Burkholderiaceae of claim 1, having an ability to decompose trans fatty acid.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The bacterium in the family Burkholderiaceae of claim 1, having an ability to decompose trans fatty acid-containing oil and fat.

### Claim 5

A bacterium in family Burkholderiaceae, having an ability to decompose oil and fat at 15° C.
