Abstract
A display device includes: a curved first substrate; a second substrate opposing the first substrate; a plurality of connection pads disposed on a side surface of the first substrate and a side surface of the second substrate; and at least one flexible circuit board including a plurality of projections respectively coupled to the plurality of connection pads, wherein the plurality of projections forms an array of projections along an edge of the side surface of the second substrate.

A display device comprising:
- a curved first substrate;
- a second substrate opposing the first substrate;
- a plurality of connection pads disposed on a side surface of the first substrate and a side surface of the second substrate;
- and
- at least one flexible circuit board including a plurality of projections respectively coupled to the plurality of connection pads,
- wherein the plurality of projections forms an array of projections along an edge of the side surface of the second substrate.

A method of fabricating a display device, the method comprising the steps of:
- preparing a curvature jig;
- preparing a flat panel display panel;
- curving the flat panel display panel using the curvature jig to create a curved display panel;
- and
- attaching a flexible circuit board to a side surface of the curved display panel.
