Abstract
A stereolithoqraphy apparatus comprises a reader device (501, 2008) configured to read in parameter data from a machine-readable identifier (802) of a resin tank (801), and a controller (502, 2001) coupled to said reader device (501, 2008) and configured to receive parameter data read in by said reader device (501, 2008). Said controller (502, 2001) is configured to use at least a piece of said received parameter data as a value of an operating parameter of said stereolithography apparatus.
Claims15
Stereolithography apparatus, comprising:
- a reader device configured to read in parameter data from a machine-readable identifier of a resin tank, and
- a controller coupled to said reader device, and configured to receive parameter data read in by said reader device;
- wherein said controller is configured to perform at least one of:
- using at least a piece of said received parameter data as a value of an operating parameter of said stereolithography apparatus, interrupt an ongoing stereolithographic 3D printing process in response to finding that at least one piece of said received parameter data triggers an alerting criterion.
A method of operating a stereolithography apparatus, comprising:
- using a reader device to read in parameter data from a resin tank,
- conveying the read-in parameter data to a controller of said stereolithography apparatus, and
- using a piece of said conveyed parameter data as a value of an operating parameter of said stereolithography apparatus.
