Abstract
The present invention provides systems for and methods of playing a video game that includes providing a game character having a virtual appearance characteristic, receiving an input signal indicative of a user exercise performance level, and altering the virtual appearance characteristic in response to receiving the input signal. Numerous other aspects are disclosed.
Claims1
A method of exercise competition, comprising:
- employing a first mobile device of a first user to invite a second user to compete remotely in a physical activity;
- tracking the physical activity performed by the first user using the first mobile device;
- communicating from the first mobile device at least an indication of the physical activity performed by the first user to a second mobile device of the second user;
- displaying at least an indication of the physical activity performed by the first user on the second mobile device;
- tracking the physical activity performed by the second user using the second mobile device;
- communicating from the second mobile device at least an indication of the physical activity performed by the second user to the first mobile device;
- and
- displaying at least an indication of the physical activity performed by the second user on the first mobile device.
