Abstract
An apparatus for operating a medical syringe is provided, the apparatus including a first retaining section configured to receive and hold a barrel section of the medical syringe; a second retaining section configured to receive and hold a plunger section of the medical syringe; and an actuator configured to axially displace the first retaining section (100) and the second retaining section in relation to each other and along an actuating axis.

An apparatus for operating a medical syringe, the apparatus comprising:
- a first retaining section configured to receive and hold a barrel section of the medical syringe;
- a second retaining section configured to receive and hold a plunger section of the medical syringe;
- and
- an actuator configured to axially displace the first retaining section and the second retaining section in relation to each other and along an actuating axis.
The apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the first retaining section comprises a first receiving section being configured to limit movement of the barrel section of the medical syringe along the actuating axis and relative to the first retaining section.
