Abstract
A cartridge assembly for a drug delivery device can include: a cartridge holder, a cartridge containing a drug, and a fixing member, wherein the cartridge holder includes an interior cartridge holding section, the cartridge being arranged in the cartridge holding section, wherein the fixing member is axially secured to the cartridge holder and secures the cartridge permanently in the cartridge holder.

A cartridge assembly for a drug delivery device, comprising:
- a cartridge holder comprising an interior cartridge holding section,
- a cartridge containing a drug, the cartridge being arranged in the cartridge holding section, and
- a fixing member axially secured to the cartridge holder to secure the cartridge permanently in the cartridge holder.
A drug delivery device comprising:
- a housing,
- a cartridge holder comprising an interior cartridge holding section,
- a cartridge containing a drug, the cartridge being arranged in the cartridge holding section, and
- a fixing member axially secured to the cartridge holder to secure the cartridge permanently in the cartridge holder,
- wherein the cartridge holder is releasably secured to the housing.
The drug delivery device of claim 38, wherein the drug contained in the cartridge is a medicament.
A method comprising:
- disposing a cartridge in a cartridge holder,
- determining a dimension of the cartridge,
- choosing a particular fixing member from a set of fixing members, wherein each fixing member of the set of fixing members is configured to secure a cartridge of a specific dimension in the cartridge holder, wherein different fixing members of the set of fixing members are configured to secure cartridges of different dimensions, wherein the particular fixing member is configured to secure a cartridge of the dimension of the provided cartridge in the cartridge holder, and
- fixing the particular fixing member to the cartridge holder to secure the cartridge within the cartridge holder.
