Abstract
To provide an endoscope or the like that can reuse an image sensor or the like. An endoscope includes: an imaging unit including an image sensor and an optical component that forms an image of light incident from a first end surface on the image sensor; a cable inserted into an insertion portion and having a first end connected to the imaging unit; an exterior cylinder covering a connected portion between the imaging unit and the cable; and a distal tip piece in which a housing portion having a shape fitted with a shape of the exterior cylinder is provided and which is arranged at a distal tip of the insertion portion.
Claims13
An endoscope comprising:
- an imaging unit including an image sensor and an optical component that forms an image of light incident from a first end surface on the image sensor;
- a cable inserted into an insertion portion and having a first end connected to the imaging unit;
- an exterior cylinder covering a connected portion between the imaging unit and the cable;
- and
- a distal tip piece in which a housing portion having a shape fitted with a shape of the exterior cylinder is provided and which is arranged at a distal tip of the insertion portion.
A distal tip piece attached to a distal tip of an insertion portion of an endoscope, wherein
- a through-hole is provided, and
- the distal tip piece comprises a translucent window plate that covers one opening of the through-hole.
A method of manufacturing an endoscope, the method comprising:
- taking out an imaging unit from a used endoscope that includes the imaging unit including an image sensor and an optical component that forms an image of light incident from a first end surface on the image sensor, a cable inserted into an insertion portion and having a first end connected to the imaging unit, an exterior cylinder covering a connected portion between the imaging unit and the cable, and a distal tip piece in which a housing portion having a shape fitted with a shape of the exterior cylinder is provided and which is arranged at a distal tip of the insertion portion;
- attaching the cable that is unused and the exterior cylinder that is unused to the taken-out imaging unit;
- inserting the cable to the insertion portion that is unused;
- and
- attaching the distal tip piece that is unused.
