Sorting method and device for sorting plate-shaped objects, preferably glass panel cut pieces, method and device for producing glass panel cut pieces with a sorting device of this type

A sorting device for sorting plate-shaped elements, preferably glass sheet cut pieces, comprising:

• a) a receiving station having a plurality of compartmented frames, preferably situated alongside one another in a compartmented frame row, having unsorted plate-shaped elements received therein, preferably glass sheet cut pieces,
• b) a separate sorting station situated after the receiving station in a processing sequence,
• the sorting station comprising at least one compartmented frame row, respectively having a plurality of compartmented frames situated alongside one another, a portion of the compartmented frames being compartmented frames having the unsorted plate-shaped elements, preferably glass sheet cut pieces, from the receiving station received therein, and the sorting station comprising at least one sorting shuttle that is movable back and forth along a fixedly defined track parallel to the compartmented frame row, preferably in automated fashion, for the sorting of the unsorted plate-shaped elements, preferably the unsorted glass sheet cut pieces, from the compartmented frames filled with the unsorted plate-shaped elements, preferably glass sheet cut pieces, into other compartmented frames of the sorting station.
