and displaying an object floating on a second screen being displayed on the electronic device. ## Claims ### Claim 1 A mobile device, comprising: a display; communication circuitry; and at least one processor electrically connected to the display and the communication circuitry, and configured to: control the communication circuitry to establish a communication connection with an external device; control the communication circuitry to transmit first data related to a first application to the external device for displaying a first screen corresponding to the first application on the external device; control the display to display a second screen including an object indicating that the first screen is being displayed on the external device while the first data is being transmitted to the external device; in response to obtaining a first input on the object, control the display to display a window presenting a list of items including a first item for terminating a state that the first data is being transmitted; and in response to the first item being selected, control the communication circuitry to transmit second data instead of the first data for displaying the second screen except the object on the external device while the second screen is being displayed on the mobile device, wherein the object including an image corresponding to the external device. ### Claim 2 (depends on 1) The mobile device of claim 1, wherein the items include a second item for changing a device with which the communication circuitry establishes the communication connection, and wherein the at least one processor is further configured to: obtain a second input selecting the second item, and in response to the second item being selected, control the communication circuitry to establish a communication connection with another external device instead of the external device. ### Claim 3 (depends on 2) The mobile device of claim 2, wherein the imaged included in the image is changed to correspond to the another external device. ### Claim 4 (depends on 1) The mobile device of claim 1, wherein the items include a third item for terminating the communication connection, and wherein the at least one processor is further configured to: obtain a third input selecting the third item, and in response to the third item being selected, control the communication circuitry to disconnect the communication connection with the external device. ### Claim 5 (depends on 1) The mobile device of claim 1, wherein the communication connection is wireless connection. ### Claim 6 (depends on 1) The mobile device of claim 1, wherein the at least one processor is further configured to control the communication circuitry to establish the wireless connection using Bluetooth, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), Wi-Fi, or Wi-Fi direct. ### Claim 7 (depends on 1) The mobile device of claim 1, wherein the items include a fourth item for controlling the first application, and wherein the at least one processor is further configured to, in response to the second item being selected, control the communication circuitry to transmit a command for controlling the first application. ### Claim 8 (depends on 7) The mobile device of claim 7, wherein the first application is a video application, and wherein the command is for pausing a content being reproduced by the video application on the external device. ### Claim 9 (depends on 1) The mobile device of claim 1, wherein the second screen includes a wallpaper, and wherein the object is floated on the wallpaper. ### Claim 10 (depends on 9) The mobile device of claim 9, wherein in response to a given input on the object, the object is moved from a first position to a second position on the wallpaper. ### Claim 11 A method for mobile device, comprising: establishing, by communication circuitry of the mobile device, a communication connection with an external device; transmitting, by the communication circuitry, first data related to a first application to the external device for displaying a first screen corresponding to the first application on the external device; displaying, by a display of the mobile device, a second screen including an object indicating that the first screen is being displayed on the external device while the first data is being transmitted to the external device; in response to obtaining a first input on the object, displaying by the display a window presenting a list of items including a first item for terminating a state that the first data is being transmitted; and in response to the first item being selected, transmitting second data instead of the first data for displaying the second screen except the object on the external device while the second screen is being displayed on the mobile device, wherein the object including an image corresponding to the external device.
