## Abstract

The present invention provides a method for screening for platelet production promoters, the method including a step for selecting a candidate substance that significantly increases expression of TUBB1 as a platelet production promoter.

A method for screening for platelet production promoters, the method comprising a step for selecting a candidate substance that significantly increases expression of TUBB1 as a platelet production promoter.

The method according to claim 1, comprising a step for contacting the candidate substance with megakaryocyte cells or progenitor cells thereof prior to the selection step.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the expression level of TUBB1 is determined as the expression level of a reporter gene inserted into the gene locus of TUBB1.
