Abstract
A premises management system may comprise a gateway device. The gateway device may configured to determine one or more premises devices of a premises management system. The gateway device may be configured to receive an indication of a communication protocol associated with the premises devices. The gateway device may be configured to communicate with the premises devices using the communication protocol.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a computing device and from a gateway device, a request for at least one communication protocol associated with a premises management system comprising one or more premises devices, wherein the gateway device and the premises management system are located at a first location, wherein the computing device is located at a second location different from the first location;
- determining the at least one communication protocol;
- and
- sending, to the gateway device, an indication of the at least one communication protocol to facilitate discovery, by the gateway device, of the one or more premises devices associated with the premises management system.

A computing device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing device to:
- receive, from a gateway device, a request for at least one communication protocol associated with a premises management system comprising one or more premises devices, wherein the gateway device and the premises management system are located at a first location, wherein the computing device is located at a second location different from the first location;
- determine the at least one communication protocol;
- and
- send, to the gateway device, an indication of the at least one communication protocol to facilitate discovery, by the gateway device, of the one or more premises devices associated with the premises management system.

- receiving, by a computing device and from a gateway device, a request for at least one communication protocol associated with a premises management system comprising one or more premises devices, wherein the gateway device and the premises management system are located at a first location, wherein the computing device is located at a second location different from the first location;
- determining the at least one communication protocol;
