Image Processing Method and Apparatus, and Device

An image processing apparatus, comprising:

• a configured to store instructions;
• and
• a processor coupled to the memory and configured to execute the instructions to cause the image processing device to:
• capture a first video when a terminal device is in a video recording mode;
• identify a main object area and a background area in an image of the first video based on a category of an object using a neural network, wherein the main object area comprises a person, an animal, a plant, a vehicle, clothes, or a preset object category, and wherein the background area is an area of the image other than the main object area;
• retain a color of the main object area;
• and
• perform black and white processing on the background area to obtain a second video.

A terminal device, comprising:

• a memory configured to store a computer program and an instruction;
• and
• a processor coupled to the memory and configured to invoke the computer program to cause the terminal device to:
• capture a first video when the terminal device is in a video recording mode;
• identify a main object area and a background area in an image of the first video based on a category of an object using a neural network, wherein the main object area comprises a person, an animal, a plant, a vehicle, clothes, or a preset object category, and
• wherein the background area is an area of the image other than the main object area;
• retain a color of the main object area;
• and
• perform black and white processing on the background area to obtain a second video.
