Abstract
The present disclosure relates to the use of a composition for reducing or preventing colloids adhesion and/or fouling on a substrate, the composition comprising a copolymer having repeating units derived from one or more zwitterionic monomers and repeating units derived from one or more phosphorous acid monomers.
Claims23

An article comprising a metal or metal-containing surface, a silicate surface, a concrete surface, or a plastic surface, wherein the metal or metal-containing surface, the silicate surface, the concrete surface, or the plastic surface is at least partially coated with a composition comprising a copolymer having repeating units derived from one or more zwitterionic monomers and repeating units derived from vinyl phosphonic acid in an amount effective to reduce or prevent colloids adhesion and/or fouling to the metal or metal-containing surface, the silicate surface, the concrete surface, or the plastic surface.
