Abstract
A recording device includes a recording unit (printing unit) configured to perform recording on a medium, a transporting belt having a support face configured to support the medium, and configured to transport the medium, a heating unit configured to heat the support face, and an adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a distance between the support face and the heating unit to a first distance and to a second distance that is greater than the first distance, wherein the adjustment mechanism moves the heating unit away from the support face such that the distance is changed from the first distance to the second distance.

A recording device, comprising:
- a recording unit configured to perform recording on a medium;
- a transporting belt having a support face configured to support the medium, and configured to transport the medium;
- a heating unit configured to heat the support face;
- and
- an adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a distance between the support face and the heating unit to a first distance and to a second distance that is greater than the first distance, wherein
- the adjustment mechanism moves the heating unit away from the support face such that the distance is changed from the first distance to the second distance.
