Abstract
A light source for myopia prevention article includes a light emitter to emit light having an emission spectrum continuing from a first wavelength of not less than 360 nm nor more than 400 nm to a second wavelength of more than 400 nm.
Claims10
A method of using a light source for a myopia prevention article,
- the light source comprising:
- a light emitter configured to emit a light, the light giving an emission spectrum continuously extending from a first wavelength of not less than 360 nm and not more than 400 nm to a second wavelength of more than 400 nm, and the light having a color temperature of not less than 2600 K and not more than 7000 K,
- the method comprising:
- irradiating a target with the light such that an irradiance in a wavelength region of 300 nm to 400 nm on the target is set at not less than 10 μW/cm2 and not more than 400 μW/cm2,
- the irradiance being set by regulating at least one selected from the group consisting of:
- an interval between the light emitter and the target;
- and
- a power supply voltage to be supplied to the light emitter.
