Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of diluted, thus non-sclerosing, polidocanol solutions as immunomodulating and anti-inflammatory agents. The inventions further relates to non-sclerosing compositions 5 comprising polidocanol in concentration of from 0.03 to 0.10 % w/V for the treatment of psoriatic skin rashes, for cosmetic use and for the reduction of peripheral venous stasis.

A method for treating a disease or condition, comprising systemically administering to a subject in need thereof polidocanol in concentration (w/V) of from 0.03% to 0.10% as an immunomodulating and anti-inflammatory agent.
A pharmaceutical composition, comprising polidocanol in non-sclerosing concentration of from 0.03 to 0.1% w/V, together with a sterile buffer in a form suitable for parenteral administration.
A cosmetic composition, comprising polidocanol in non-sclerosing concentration of from 0.03 to 0.10% w/V.
