Abstract
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to kits, compositions and methods for modifying and altering polysaccharide fillers and drug delivery systems with the application of an ascorbate.
Claims9
A method of altering or modifying a mass comprising a polysaccharide comprising the steps of:
- a. administering an effective amount of an ascorbate to the mass,
- wherein said polysaccharide has one or more sugars selected from the group consisting of D-galactose and 3,6-anhydro-L-galactopyranose;
- wherein the effective amount is an amount to cause the polysaccharide to assume a desired fluidized form;
- and wherein the fluidized form can be suctioned by needles.
