Machine (10) and method for the automatic treatment of components of inhalers, in particular cartomizers for electronic cigarettes, wherein each component has a central body, preferably of tubular shape, having a lower end part normally protected by a removable lower cap and an upper end part normally protected by a removable upper cap. Upstream and downstream from one or more work stations (S3) and/or one or more inspection stations (S4) there are, respectively, a removal station (S2), configured to selectively and automatically remove the caps from the respective central bodies, and a repositioning station (S5), configured to selectively and automatically return the caps to the corresponding central bodies of the components.
A machine (10) for the automatic treatment of components (11) of inhalers, in particular cartomizers for electronic cigarettes, wherein each component (11) comprises a central body (12), preferably of a tubular shape, having a lower end part (23) normally protected by a removable lower cap (25) and an upper end part (24) normally protected by a removable upper cap (26), and wherein said machine (10) comprises a loading station (S1) configured to load said components (11) on a transporting member (31), a final station (SF) configured to unload said components (11) from said transporting member (31) and one or more work stations (S3) and/or one or more inspection stations (S4) of said components (11), interposed between said loading station (S1) and said final station (SF), wherein after said loading station (S1) and upstream of said one or more work stations (S3) and/or one or more inspection stations (S4) a removal station (S2) is disposed, configured to selectively and automatically remove said caps (25 and 26) from the respective central bodies (12) of said components (11) and in that before said final station (SF) a repositioning station (S5) is disposed configured to selectively and automatically reposition said caps (25 and 26) in the lower end part (23) and, respectively, in the upper end part (24) of the corresponding central body (12) of each of said components (11).
The machine for the automatic treatment of components (11) of inhalers, in particular cartomizers for electronic cigarettes, wherein each component (11) comprises a central body (12), preferably of a tubular shape, having a lower end part (23) normally protected by a removable lower cap (25) and an upper end part (24) normally protected by a removable upper cap (26), comprising a loading step, wherein said components (11) are loaded onto a transporting member (31) able to transfer them firstly to one or more work stations (S3) and/or to one or more inspection stations (S4) of said components (11), and then from these to a final station (SF), wherein said method also comprises a step of automatically removing said caps (25 and 26) from the respective central bodies (12) of said components (11), before said central bodies (12) are transferred toward said one or more work stations (S3) and/or to one or more inspection stations (S4), and an automatic repositioning step of said caps (25 and 26) in the lower end part (23) and, respectively, in the upper end part (24) of the central body (12) of each of said components (11), before each central body (12) is transferred from said one or more work stations (S3) and/or one or more inspection stations (S4) toward said final station (SF).
