Abstract
An information processing apparatus includes a receiving unit that receives, during or after reproduction of a video, a predetermined operation with respect to the video, an associating unit that associates the received operation with a reproduction location where the received operation has been generated in the video, and a setting unit that sets in response to the received operation an importance degree of the reproduction location associated with the received operation.

An information processing apparatus comprising
- a receiving unit that receives, during play of a video, an operation with respect to the video from a user;
- a storing unit that stores the received operation in association with a play time in the video, for a plurality of play times in the video;
- and
- a displaying unit that displays an importance degree for each of the plurality of play times in chronological order,
- wherein the information processing apparatus is configured so that, if the user is different, the importance degree of the play time will be different.
