Abstract
A system and method for personalized food item designer and culinary fulfillment. The system is a cloud-based network containing a food item design server, portals for restaurants and patrons, to enter their information, and a recipe generator which creates a unique dietary experience for patrons based on a multitude of variables associated with the business enterprises, patrons historic culinary transactions, dietary needs and preferences both explicit and inferred. The system may be accessed through web browsers or purpose-built computer and mobile phone applications.

A system for personalized food item design and culinary fulfillment, comprising:
- a food item design engine comprising a plurality of programming instructions stored in a memory of, and operating on a processor of, a computing device, wherein the plurality of programming instructions, when operating on the processor, cause the processor to:
- receive food item preference information from a user device, the food item preference information corresponding to at least a food item request made by the user of the user device, the food item request comprising at least a desired food type, food amount, and a timeframe descriptor;
- retrieve a consumer profile from a consumer profile database;
- retrieve a plurality of culinary transactions from the culinary transaction database, the culinary transactions being based on the consumer profile;
- receive recipe information from one or more business enterprise devices, the recipe information comprising at least a business location, chef information, and ingredient information;
- analyze the ingredient information and compare against at least a portion of the retrieved culinary transactions, consumer profile, and food item preference information;
- generate a food item recommendation comprising a patron-specific food item based at least in part on at least one of the food item preference information, consumer profile, culinary transactions, recipe information, ingredient information, and chef information;
- send the food item recommendation to the user device, the food item recommendation comprising a food item description, name and location of business and estimate of availability for pick up or dine-in consumption;
- receive a consumption selection from the user device, the consumption selection corresponding to either of the pick up or dine-in availability estimates;
- send a food item order request to the business enterprise device, the food item order request comprising instructions for pick up or dine-in consumption according to the consumption selection;
- wherein the chef information comprises a chef skill set;
- and
- wherein the ingredient information comprises ingredient availability.

A method for personalized food item design and culinary fulfillment, comprising the steps of:
- receiving food item preference information from a user device, the food item preference information corresponding to at least a food item request made by the user of the user device, the food item request comprising at least a desired food type, food amount, and a timeframe descriptor;
- retrieving a consumer profile from a consumer profile database;
- retrieving a plurality of culinary transactions from the culinary transaction database, the culinary transactions being based on the consumer profile;
- receiving recipe information from one or more business enterprise devices, the recipe information comprising at least a business location, chef information, and ingredient information;
- analyzing the ingredient information and comparing against at least a portion of the retrieved culinary transactions, consumer profile, and food item preference information;
- generating a food item recommendation comprising a patron-specific food item based at least in part on at least one of the food item preference information, consumer profile, culinary transactions, recipe information, ingredient information, and chef information;
- sending the food item recommendation to the user device, the food item recommendation comprising a food item description, name and location of business and estimate of availability for pick up or dine-in consumption;
- receiving a consumption selection from the user device, the consumption selection corresponding to either of the pick up or dine-in availability estimates;
- sending a food item order request to the business enterprise device, the food item order request comprising instructions for pick up or dine-in consumption according to the consumption selection;
- wherein the chef information comprises a chef skill set;
- and
- wherein the ingredient information comprises ingredient availability.
