System and method to assign action items using artificial intelligence

A system comprising:

• a microprocessor;
• and
• a computer readable medium, coupled with the microprocessor and comprising microprocessor readable and executable instructions that cause the microprocessor to:
• monitor communications over one or more communication channels;
• analyze the monitored communications to generate one or more user stories;
• process the one or more generated user stories to identify one or more action items;
• score one or more resources based on assignment factors to determine a resource with a highest score;
• and
• assign the one or more action items to the resource with the highest score.

A non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon instructions that, when executed by a processor, perform a method comprising:

• monitoring communications over one or more communication channels;
• analyzing the monitored communications to generate one or more user stories;
• processing the one or more generated user stories to identify one or more action items;
• scoring one or more resources based on assignment factors to determine a resource with a highest score;
• and
• assigning the one or more action items to the resource with the highest score.
