Abstract
There is provided an electronic apparatus, and an improved design flexibility and minimized power consumption for biometric authentication in an electronic apparatus that performs biometric authentication, the electronic apparatus including: a wearable part movable to be worn on a user's body; and a biometric information acquisition unit provided on the wearable part and configured to acquire biometric information of the user for user authentication. This configuration makes it possible to improve design flexibility and minimize power consumption for biometric authentication in an electronic apparatus that performs biometric authentication.
Claims19
An electronic apparatus comprising:
- a wearable part movable to be worn on a user's body;
- and
- a biometric information acquisition unit provided on the wearable part and configured to acquire biometric information of the user for user authentication.
An electronic apparatus comprising:
- a wearable part movable to be worn on or detached from a user's body;
- a biometric information acquisition unit configured to acquire biometric information of the user for user authentication;
- and
- a detection unit configured to detect movement of the wearable part,
- wherein the biometric information acquisition unit acquires the biometric information when the detection unit detects that the wearable part is worn on the user's body.
An authentication method comprising:
- detecting movement of a wearable part movable for an electronic apparatus to be worn on a user's body;
- and
- acquiring biometric information of the user in order to perform authentication on a basis of the biometric information when the movement of the wearable part is detected.
A program causing a computer to function as:
- means for detecting movement of a wearable part movable for an electronic apparatus to be worn on a user's body;
- and
- means for acquiring biometric information of the user in order to perform authentication on a basis of the biometric information when the movement of the wearable part is detected.
