Touch system and touch sensitive processing apparatus and method thereof for detecting whether touch panel is partially submerged in conductive liquid

A touch sensitive processing method for detecting whether a touch panel is partially submerged in conductive liquid, wherein the touch panel comprises multiple parallel first electrodes and multiple parallel second electrodes, comprising:

• detecting a liquid surface line and a covered area of the touch panel, below the liquid surface line, which is covered by the conductive liquid;
• detecting first touching or approximating event in the covered area;
• when zero or three first touching or approximating events are detected, reporting no first touching or approximating event to a host;
• and
• when one first touching or approximating event is detected, reporting the first touching or approximating event to the host.

A touch system for detecting whether a touch panel is partially submerged in conductive liquid, comprising:

• the touch panel;
• and
• a touch sensitive processing apparatus, comprising:
• a driving circuit module;
• a sensing circuit module;
• an interconnection network module, configured to connect the driving circuit module and one of multiple parallel first electrodes and multiple parallel second electrodes of the touch panel and to connect the sensing circuit module and one of the multiple parallel first electrodes and the multiple parallel second electrodes of the touch panel;
• and
• a processor module, connected to the driving circuit module, the sensing circuit module and the interconnection network module, configured to execute instruction for implementing following steps:
• detecting a liquid surface line, by the driving circuit module, the sensing circuit module and the interconnection network module, and a covered area of the touch panel, below the liquid surface line, which is covered by the conductive liquid;
• detecting first touching or approximating event in the covered area;
• when zero or three first touching or approximating events are detected, reporting no first touching or approximating event to a host;
• and
• when one first touching or approximating event is detected, reporting the first touching or approximating event to the host.
