The open connection comprises a visible metal trace on a line coupling the integrated input device to the computer device.
Claims15
A computer device, comprising an integrated input device, wherein the integrated input device comprises a positive disconnect system comprising a display of an open connection to the integrated input device when the integrated input device is deactivated, wherein the open connection comprises a visible metal trace on a line coupling the integrated input device to the computer device.
An integrated input device, comprising:
- a body comprising a connection block, wherein the connection block comprises a metal trace on an outer surface, and wherein the metal trace couples the integrated input device to a computing device in a first position;
- and
- the connection block, wherein the connection block is configured to allow motion from the first position to a second position, wherein the metal trace is decoupled from the integrated input device and the computing device in the second position.
A method for disconnecting an integrated input device by a computer device, comprising:
- receiving a motion of the integrated input device to break a connection to the integrated input device;
- and
- displaying a metal trace comprising the connection the integrated input device.
