Abstract
A computing device with a closable lid and camera on the lid has a reflector arranged to use the camera while the lid of the computing device is closed.

A computing device, comprising:
- a base;
- an upper lid movably coupled to the base and having a screen and at least one camera with at least one lens facing the base when the upper lid is in a closed position relative to the base;
- and
- a reflector of the computing device being disposed to reflect light from an exterior of the computing device and to the lens while the upper lid is in the closed position.

A reflector of a computing device comprising:
- at least one reflective surface disposed at a base of the computing device, wherein the computing device comprises an upper lid coupled to the base and having a screen and camera facing the base when the upper lid is in a closed position, and
- wherein the at least one reflective surface is disposed at the base in a position to reflect light from an exterior of the computing device and to be directed toward the camera while the upper lid is in the closed position.
A camera system comprising:
- a computing device, comprising:
- a base;
- an upper lid coupled to the base and having a screen and at least one camera with at least one lens facing the base when the upper lid is in a closed position relative to the base;
- and
- a reflector of the computing device being disposed to reflect light from an exterior of the computing device and to the lens while the upper lid is in the closed position;
- and
- at least one processor communicatively coupled to the at least one camera and being arranged to activate the camera to capture images while the upper lid is in the closed position.
