Abstract
A mold for reducing a molding cycle time and a cost, the mold including a first cavity and a second cavity includes a hot runner that is a flow path to inject a resin injected from an injection unit into the first cavity and the second cavity, and a switching valve configured to divide the flow path into a first flow path connected to the first cavity and a second flow path connected to the second cavity. The injection unit is connected to the first flow path. A pressurizing mechanism is connected to the second flow path.
Claims8
A mold including a first cavity and a second cavity, the mold comprising:
- a hot runner that is a flow path to inject a resin injected from an injection unit into the first cavity and the second cavity;
- and
- a switching valve configured to divide the flow path into a first flow path connected to the first cavity and a second flow path connected to the second cavity,
- wherein the injection unit is connected to the first flow path, and
- wherein a pressurizing mechanism is connected to the second flow path.
A method of manufacturing an article by injecting a resin into a first cavity and a second cavity from an injection unit and applying dwell pressure, the method comprising:
- dividing, after filling the resin in the first cavity and the second cavity through a resin flow path, the resin flow path into a first resin flow path connected to the first cavity and a second resin flow path connected to the second cavity,
- wherein in the first cavity, the dwell pressure is applied by injecting of the resin from the injection unit, and
- wherein in the second cavity, the dwell pressure is applied by injecting of the resin from a pressurizing mechanism connected to the second resin flow path.
A valve including a valve body housed in a housing,
- wherein the valve body includes a first surface, a second surface, and an outer peripheral surface connecting the first surface and the second surface,
- wherein the outer peripheral surface has a groove and projected portions forming a flow path with the housing, and
- wherein the first surface includes three or more protrusions.
