Abstract
There is provided a driving machine capable of reducing a load applied to a guide member in a direction of a center axis. The driving machine drives a fastener into a workpiece. The driving machine includes a movable piston, a driver blade operating together with the piston and applying driving force to the fastener, a cylinder guiding operation of the piston, a holder provided in a housing and supporting the cylinder, and a vibration damping rubber interposed between the holder and the housing and receiving a load applied to the holder in an operational direction of the piston.
Claims17
A driving machine for driving a fastener into a workpiece, the driving machine comprising:
- a cylinder having a first end and a second end opposite the first end;
- a piston disposed in the cylinder to travel in a first direction from a side of the first end to a side of the second end, and a second direction opposite the first direction;
- a striker coupled to the piston and configured to apply driving force to the fastener;
- a compression chamber configured to be filled with a gas for moving the piston in the first direction;
- a driving mechanism comprising a motor configured to move the piston in the second direction;
- a housing for supporting the cylinder and the driving mechanism, the housing comprising a cylinder case for supporting the cylinder, the cylinder case having an opening on the side of the first end of the cylinder;
- and
- a cover for covering the compression chamber and the opening of the cylinder case,
- wherein the cover is attached to the compression chamber.
A driving machine for driving a fastener into a workpiece, the driving machine comprising:
- a cylinder having a first end and a second end opposite the first end;
- a piston disposed in the cylinder to travel in a first direction from a side of the first end to a side of the second end, and a second direction opposite the first direction;
- a striker coupled to the piston and configured to apply driving force to the fastener;
- a compression chamber configured to be filled with a gas for moving the piston in the first direction;
- a driving mechanism comprising a motor configured to move the piston in the second direction;
- and
- a housing for supporting the cylinder and the driving mechanism, the housing comprising:
- a cylinder case for supporting the cylinder, the cylinder case having an opening on the side of the first end of the cylinder;
- a handle extending from the cylinder case in a third direction;
- a motor case supporting the motor and extending along the third direction;
- a connecting portion connecting an distal end of the handle and a distal end of the motor case,
- wherein the housing comprises a first part and a second part, the first part and the second part being coupled together to become the housing,
- wherein, the cylinder case, the handle, a motor case, and the connecting portion composes a single integral component, and
- wherein the driving machine further comprises a cup-shaped cover that covers the opening of the cylinder case.
A working machine comprising:
- a housing supporting a driving mechanism and having a handle, the handle extending from the driving mechanism, wherein the housing is dividable into a first part and a second part by a dividing plane parallel with a longitudinal direction of the handle, the first part and the second part being coupled together to become the housing;
- and
- a cup-shaped cover that surrounds one end of the housing to secure the coupling of the first part and the second part, the cover being fixed to a portion of the driving mechanism.
