Tested products of pdm performance testing device

An adapted elastomer compound, in which the adapted elastomer compound is an adaptation of an original elastomer compound, wherein the adaptation is based at least in part on load performance data of a rotor/stator test coupon as evaluated on a test apparatus, the test apparatus comprising:

• the rotor/stator test coupon, wherein the test coupon includes a rotor section received inside a stator section, and wherein the stator section includes the original elastomer compound;
• a motor, the motor disposed to rotate the stator section;
• a brake, the brake disposed to exert a braking torque on the rotor section;
• and
• at least one sensor disposed to evaluate load performance data of the test coup
• wherein the load performance data is the product of the process comprising the steps of:
• (a) rotating the stator section on the test apparatus, wherein rotation of the stator section actuates corresponding rotation of the rotor section;
• (b) applying the braking torque to said rotor section rotation actuated in step (a);
• and
• (c) responsive to step (b), evaluating, load performance data of the test coupon.

An adapted elastomer compound, in which the adapted elastomer compound is an adaptation of an original elastomer compound, wherein the adaptation is based at least in part on load performance data of a rotor/stator test coupon as evaluated on a test apparatus, the test apparatus comprising:

• the rotor/stator test coupon, wherein the test coupon includes a rotor section received inside a stator section, and wherein the stator section includes the original elastomer compound;
• a motor, the motor disposed to rotate a first one of the rotor section and the stator section;
• a brake, the brake disposed to exert a braking torque on a second one of the rotor section and the stator section;
• and
• at least one sensor disposed to evaluate load performance data of the test coupon;
• wherein the load performance data is the product of the process comprising the steps of:
• rotating the first one of the rotor section and the stator section on the test apparatus, Wherein rotation of the first one of the rotor section and the stator section actuates corresponding rotation of the second one of the rotor section id the stator section;
• (b) applying the braking torque to the second one of the rotor section and the stator section;
• and
• (c) responsive to step (b), evaluating load performance data of the test coupon;
• wherein at least one of the rotating in step (a) and the applying of a braking torque in step (b) includes delivery of non-linear torque.
