Abstract
The present disclosure is generally directed to methods for purifying cannabinoids from Cannabis plants.

A cannabinoid having a purity of at least 95%, wherein the cannabinoid is prepared according to a method comprising:
- providing the Cannabis plant material and one or more solvents selected from of N,N-dimethylacetamide, N,N-dimethylformamide, tetrahydrofuran, and combination thereof to obtain a solution of the extract;
- maintaining the solution at a temperature between −40° C. to 25° C. for a time sufficient to obtain solid cannabinoid;
- and
- removing the one or more solvents to obtain pure cannabinoid.
