Abstract
A composite material comprising a plastic layer; and a steel sheet laminated on one side or both sides of the plastic layer, and having a structure in which plastic particles are introduced onto the surface of the side where the plastic layer is laminated with the steel sheet and a method for producing the same are provided, wherein the composite material is capable of being used as automotive parts or structures, and the like.

A composite material comprising:
- a plastic layer;
- and
- a steel sheet laminated on one side or both sides of the plastic layer, and
- having a structure that polar functional groups are introduced onto the surface of the plastic layer in contact with the steel sheet.

A method for producing a composite material comprising steps of:
- surface-modifying one side or both sides of a plastic layer with polar functional groups;
- and
- laminating a steel sheet on the surface-modified surface of the plastic layer under heating or pressing conditions.
