Abstract
A fiber distribution device includes a swing frame chassis pivotally mounted to a support structure. At least a first optical splitter module is mounted to the swing frame chassis. Pigtails having connectorized ends are carried by the swing frame chassis and have portions that are routed generally vertically on the swing frame chassis. An optical termination field includes fiber optic adapters carried by the swing frame chassis. The fiber optic adapters are configured to receive the connectorized ends of the pigtails.

A telecommunications cabinet comprising:
- a cabinet body defining an interior;
- a plurality of dust cap posts disposed within the interior, each dust cap post being sized and shaped to support a dust cap of a type used to cover a ferrule end face of a fiber optic connector.
A telecommunications cabinet comprising:
- a cabinet body defining an interior accessible through an access opening;
- and
- a plurality of splitter modules disposed within the interior of the cabinet body, each of the splitter modules of the plurality including a front face facing the access opening, the plurality of splitter modules including a first splitter module and a second splitter module, the front face of the first splitter module being a different size than the front face of the second splitter module.
A telecommunications cabinet comprising:
- a split enclosure having a height, a width, and a depth that are orthogonal to each other, the split enclosure including:
- a rear enclosure portion extending fully along the height and the width of the split enclosure;
- a front enclosure portion extending fully along the height and width of the split enclosure, the front enclosure portion cooperating with the rear enclosure portion to define the depth of the split enclosure, the front enclosure portion being coupled to the rear enclosure portion at a seam extending along a periphery of the split enclosure at a position along the depth of the split enclosure, the front enclosure portion being pivotally movable relative to the rear enclosure portion.
A mounting bracket for securing a communications cabinet to a surface, the mounting bracket comprising:
- a body having opposite first and second sides, the first side being configured to be mounted to the surface, the second side being configured to couple to the communications cabinet;
- and
- a handle mounted to the body, the handle extending outwardly from the mounting bracket, the handle being positioned to extend outwardly beyond the communications cabinet when the communications cabinet is mounted to the second side of the body.
