Abstract
Disclosed are a microneedle patch and a method for fabricating the microneedle patch. The microneedle patch includes a base layer including a mesh structure or auxetic materials having a negative Poisson's ratio, and a microneedle array disposed on the base layer. The method includes forming a base layer including a mesh structure or auxetic materials having a negative Poisson's ratio, and forming a microneedle array on the base layer.
Claims21
A microneedle patch comprising:
- a base layer including auxetic materials or a mesh structure having a negative Poisson's ratio;
- and
- a microneedle array disposed on the base layer.
A method of fabricating a microneedle patch, the method comprising:
- forming a base layer including a mesh structure or auxetic materials having a negative Poisson's ratio;
- and
- forming a microneedle array on the base layer.
A microneedle patch comprising:
- a plurality of microneedles each having an upper end portion and a base portion and which are individualized from each other;
- and
- a base layer that is formed of a water-soluble material and includes linear portions that pass the base portions of the microneedles neighboring each other among the plurality of microneedles and are joined to the base portions of the microneedles neighboring each other.
