Abstract
Various methods and systems are provided for pre-screen procedure for medical imaging. In one example, a method for the pre-screen procedure includes receiving data from a scanning assembly positioned away from an MRI scanner, identifying the implant based on a matching of the implant to an implant database, and displaying identification of the implant.
Claims20
A method for a pre-screen procedure for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), comprising:
- using a pre-screen system to obtain data comprising a body model of a subject and presence of an implant in the subject;
- identifying the implant based on a matching of the implant to an implant database;
- and
- displaying the implant relative to the body model and identification of the implant.
1 more element
A magnetic resonance imaging system comprising:
- an Mill scanner positioned in a scan room;
- a display device;
- a controller unit communicatively coupled to the MM scanner and the display device;
- and
- a memory storing executable instructions that, when executed, cause the controller unit to:
- receive data from a pre-screen system, wherein the data comprises a body model of a subject and a presence of an implant in the subject;
- identify the implant based on a matching of the implant to an implant database;
- instruct the display device to display the implant relative to the body model;
- and
- instruct the MM scanner to scan the subject based on the identification of the implant.
7 more elements
A method comprising:
- scanning, by a pre-screen system, a subject to obtain a body model of the subject and to detect presence of an implant;
- identifying, by a processing system, a type of the implant;
- displaying, by a display device, the implant relative to the body model;
- and
- performing, by an MM system, an MM scan according to the identified type of the implant.
