Control Method, Device, Computer Program, Computer Readable Medium and Method for Data Communication in an Industrial Network

A method for data communication via stream in a network operating in according with a time-sensitive network principle and comprising at least one node, resources being reserved at the at least one node utilizing a reservation protocol and data being then transmitted via stream for data transmission between stream users via a plurality of nodes of the network, the method comprising:

• at least one of:
• (i) transmitting, by a transmitter, a data frame containing a plurality of data subsets intended for different receivers to transmit data from the transmitter to a plurality of receivers and filtering out at at least one output port of at least one node at least one data subset from the data frame and
• (ii) receiving, by the receiver, the data frame containing a plurality of data subsets originating from different transmitters to transmit data from a plurality of transmitters to a receiver;
• and
• at least one of:
• (i) transmitting at least one talker data subset advertise message in the network to a plurality of nodes in the network to transmit the data from a transmitter to the plurality of receivers and
• (ii) transmitting a listener data subset advertise message in the network to a plurality of nodes in the network to transmit the data from the plurality of receivers to the one receiver.

An apparatus comprising:

• at least one of:
• (i) a plurality of nodes comprising at least one of bridges and switches, a plurality of end stations, each constituting a transmitter, and a device constituting a receiver comprising a controller of one of (i) an industrial automation system and (ii) a vehicle;
• (ii) a plurality of end stations, each constituting a receiver, namely actuators;
• and
• a device constituting a transmitter forming the controller of one of (i) the industrial automation system and (ii) vehicle;
• wherein the apparatus is configured to one of:
• (A) at least one of:
• (i) transmit, by the transmitter, a data frame containing a plurality of data subsets intended for different receivers to transmit data from the transmitter to a plurality of receivers and filter out at at least one output port of at least one node at least one data subset from the data frame and
• (ii) receive, by the receiver, the data frame containing a plurality of data subsets originating from different transmitters to transmit data from a plurality of transmitters to a receiver;
• and
• at least one of:
• (i) transmit at least one talker data subset advertise message in the network to a plurality of nodes in the network to transmit the data from a transmitter to the plurality of receivers and
• (ii) transmit a listener data subset advertise message in the network to a plurality of nodes in the network to transmit the data from the plurality of receivers to the one receiver;
• and
• (B) exchange data between at least two components of a control system and a single controller, and control one of an industrial technical process and vehicle based on the data exchanged.
