Method, Apparatus, And Computer Program Product For Providing A Search Feedback System

A method comprising:

• providing, for display at a consumer device, a web page or application, configured to enable navigation of products or services, or promotions indicative thereof, via a hierarchical data structure, by location data or category data associated with each of the products or services, or promotions indicative thereof;
• implicitly inferring a first portion of searched attributes as a function of user browsing activity, the user browsing activity being the navigation of the hierarchical data structure, the first portion of the searched attributes comprising at least a category and sub-category;
• storing, for each of one or more consumers, the first portion of the searched attributes as consumer data in a consumer profile;
• accessing, for each of one or more consumers, consumer data accessed from an associated consumer profile of the consumer, wherein the consumer data comprises searched attributes associated with the consumer;
• receiving global positioning system (GPS) data indicative of a location from the consumer device;
• generating one or more promotions, each representative of an offer for sale of an actual product or service, comprised of attributes configured to be matched to the searched attributes at or near the location of the consumer device;
• and
• causing display of a particular page layout on a user interface of the consumer device associated with the consumer, the particular page layout comprised of the one or more promotions matching the searched attributes associated with the consumer and the consumer device, the particular page layout configured as a function of specifications of the consumer device.

An apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to at least:

• provide, for display at a consumer device, a web page or application, configured to enable navigation of products or services, or promotions indicative thereof, via a hierarchical data structure, by location data or category data associated with each of the products or services, or promotions indicative thereof;
• implicitly infer a first portion of searched attributes as a function of user browsing activity, the user browsing activity being the navigation of the hierarchical data structure, the first portion of the searched attributes comprising at least a category and sub-category;
• store, for each of one or more consumers, the first portion of the searched attributes as consumer data in a consumer profile;
• access, for each of one or more consumers, consumer data accessed from an associated consumer profile of the consumer, wherein the consumer data comprises searched attributes associated with the consumer;
• receiving global positioning system (GPS) data indicative of a location from the consumer device;
• generate one or more promotions, each representative of an offer for sale of an actual product or service, comprised of attributes configured to be matched to the searched attributes at or near the location of the consumer device;
• and
• cause display of a particular page layout on a user interface of a consumer device associated with the consumer, the particular page layout comprised of the one or more promotions matching the searched attributes associated with the consumer and the consumer device, the particular page layout configured as a function of specifications of the consumer device.

A computer program product comprising at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-executable program code instructions stored therein, the computer-executable program code instructions comprising program code instructions for:

• providing, for display at a consumer device, a web page or application, configured to enable navigation of products or services, or promotions indicative thereof, via a hierarchical data structure, by location data or category data associated with each of the products or services, or promotions indicative thereof;
• implicitly inferring a first portion of searched attributes as a function of user browsing activity, the user browsing activity being the navigation of the hierarchical data structure, the first portion of the searched attributes comprising at least a category and sub-category;
• storing, for each of one or more consumers, the first portion of the searched attributes as consumer data in a consumer profile;
• accessing, for each of one or more consumers, consumer data accessed from an associated consumer profile of the consumer, wherein the consumer data comprises searched attributes associated with the consumer;
• receiving global positioning system (GPS) data indicative of a location from the consumer device;
• generating one or more promotions, each representative of an offer for sale of an actual product or service, comprised of attributes configured to be matched to the searched attributes at or near the location of the consumer device;
• and
• causing display of a particular page layout on a user interface of a consumer device associated with the consumer, the particular page layout comprised of the one or more promotions matching the searched attributes associated with the consumer and the consumer device, the particular page layout configured as a function of specifications of the consumer device.
