A device attached to a vehicle, comprising:
- a housing;
- at least one surroundings sensor situated in the housing;
- wherein a first housing wall of the housing of the device is made from a material pervious to sensor radiation, and at least one second housing wall of the housing of the device is made from a material which absorbs sensor radiation.
