Abstract
A cell transfer device transfers cells from a transfer source dish to wells of a microplate. The cell transfer device includes a camera unit for acquiring condition information such as an area of the cells by imaging the dish holding the cells; a head to which a tip that picks up the cells is attached and which transfers the picked up cells to the wells; and a control unit which controls operation of the head. The control unit refers to the cell condition information acquired by the camera unit and causes the head to transfer cells to at least two wells among the plurality of wells provided in the microplate so that the cells are housed in a state under the same condition.
Claims20
A transfer method for a biological subject comprising:
- picking up a biological subject at a predetermined holding position;
- and
- transferring the picked up biological subject to a container having a plurality of wells, such that biological subjects are transferred to at least two wells among the plurality of wells so that the biological subjects are housed in a state under a same condition.
A transfer device for a biological subject comprising:
- an information acquisition unit configured to acquire condition information of a biological subject at a predetermined holding position;
- a head having a tip configured to pick up the biological subject and configured to transfer the picked up biological subject to a container having a plurality of wells;
- and
- a controller configured to control operation of the head, such that the controller refers to condition information of the biological subject acquired by the information acquisition unit and causes the head to transfer biological subjects to at least two wells among the plurality of wells so that the biological subjects are housed in a state under a same condition.
