Abstract
A recording material transport device includes a transport unit that transports a recording material to a succeeding apparatus that follows the recording material transport device; and a notification unit that, in a case where transport of the recording material by the transport unit has been stopped, gives a notification prompting a user to take an action for reducing occurrence of a trouble resulting from a state where the recording material that has been stopped has already reached the succeeding apparatus.

A recording material transport device comprising:
- a transport unit that transports a recording material to a succeeding apparatus that follows the recording material transport device;
- and
- a notification unit that, in a case where transport of the recording material by the transport unit has been stopped, gives a notification prompting a user to take an action for reducing occurrence of a trouble resulting from a state where the recording material that has been stopped has already reached the succeeding apparatus.
A recording material transport device comprising:
- transport means for transporting a recording material to a succeeding apparatus that follows the recording material transport device;
- and
- notification means for, in a case where transport of the recording material by the transport unit has been stopped, giving a notification prompting a user to take an action for reducing occurrence of a trouble resulting from a state where the recording material that has been stopped has already reached the succeeding apparatus.
