Compressor

A compressor comprising:

• a casing to which a suction pipe for suctioning a refrigerant and a discharge pipe for discharging the refrigerant are connected;
• a compression unit provided in the casing and compressing the refrigerant while rotating by using a rotational force of a driving unit transmitted by a rotating shaft;
• a high/low pressure separation plate provided by crossing an upper portion of the compression unit, the high/low pressure separation plate partitioning a refrigerant inlet space communicating with the suction pipe and a refrigerant discharge space communicating with the discharge pipe;
• and
• a discharge guide provided in the refrigerant discharge space, the discharge guide being combined with an upper surface of the high/low pressure separation plate and at least a portion thereof extending to the discharge pipe so as to cover a communicating hole of the high/low pressure separation plate which allows the refrigerant inlet space and the refrigerant discharge space to communicate with each other therebetween, so that the refrigerant discharged to the refrigerant discharge space is guided to the discharge pipe.
