Abstract
The present invention relates to a method capable of easily manufacturing a curved thin glass sheet and a curved joined glass sheet to which functionality is added.
Claims11
A method of manufacturing a curved thin glass sheet having a functional layer, the method including:
- preparing a curved thin glass sheet;
- elastically deforming the curved thin glass sheet into a plate-shaped thin glass sheet by applying an external force to the curved thin glass sheet;
- providing a functional layer on one surface of the plate-shaped thin glass sheet with the external force maintained;
- and
- deforming the plate-shaped thin glass sheet into a curved thin glass sheet by removing the external force.
