Abstract
A radio transmitting apparatus determines a first coding rate for transmitting, in a single carrier system, data information based on information for determining the first coding rate, the information for determining the first coding rate being received from a base station; and determines a transmission power for the data information and the control information based on the information for determining the first coding rate.

A radio transmitting apparatus comprising:
- at least one processor;
- at least one memory including software program code, the memory and the software program code configured to, working with the at least one processor, cause the radio transmitting apparatus to perform at least the following:
- determine a first coding rate for transmitting, in a single carrier system, data information based on information for determining the first coding rate, the information for determining the first coding rate being received from a base station;
- and
- determine a transmission power for the data information and the control information based on the information for determining the first coding rate.
