A base station for connecting a mobile cleaning device,
- wherein the base station is equipped with at least one of a climate control device for conditioning room air or a measuring device for measuring the quality of the room air.
A method for operating a cleaning system with a cleaning device and a base station for the cleaning device, comprising at least one of
- conditioning room air by means of the base station, or
- measuring the quality of the room air by means of the base station.
