Abstract
In a method disclosed for writing data, a device receives data, divides the data into one or more data fragments, obtains a first parity fragment based on the one or more data fragments and a second parity fragment of a written data fragment in a stripe distributed across a plurality of nodes, stores the one or more data fragments and the first parity fragment in the stripe.
Claims15
A data writing method, comprising:
- receiving, by a device, data;
- dividing, by the device, the data into one or more data fragments;
- obtaining, by the device, a first parity fragment based on the one or more data fragments and a second parity fragment of an already written data fragment in a stripe distributed across a plurality of nodes;
- storing, by the device, the one or more data fragments and the first parity fragment in the stripe.
A device, comprising:
- a memory storing instructions;
- a processor coupled to the memory and configured to execute the instructions, the processor when executing the instructions configured to:
- receive data;
- divide the data into one or more data fragments;
- obtain a first parity fragment based on the one or more data fragments and a second parity fragment of an already written data fragment in a stripe distributed across a plurality of nodes;
- store the one or more data fragments and the first parity fragment in the stripe.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium, wherein the non-transitory computer readable storage medium stores computer instructions that, when executed by a device, cause the device to perform operations comprising:
- receiving data;
- dividing the data into one or more data fragments;
- obtaining a first parity fragment based on the one or more data fragments and a second parity fragment of an already written data fragment in a stripe distributed across a plurality of nodes;
- storing the one or more data fragments and the first parity fragment in the stripe.
