## CPC

- H04W 72/20: Control channels or signalling for resource management
- H04W 72/23: in the downlink direction of a wireless link, i.e. towards a terminal
- H04W 48/10: using broadcasted information
- H04W: WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORKS (broadcast communication H04H; communication systems using wireless links for non-selective communication, e.g. wireless extensions H04M1/72)

## Abstract

A user equipment (UE) may receive a broadcast channel that includes a bits indicating possible resources for a downlink shared channel being utilized for a signaling channel. The UE may monitor, based on the indicated possible resources, the signaling channel for signaling information for the UE.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method performed by a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
receiving, by the UE, first information including a plurality of bits, wherein the plurality of bits indicates a plurality of time slots that physical shared channel resources are utilized for first signaling channels;
monitoring, by the UE, the first signaling channels in the indicated time slots, to determine whether signaling information for the UE is present based on an identification of the UE; and
processing, by the UE, the signaling information in response to the determination that signaling information for the UE is present.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the first information is received over a broadcast channel.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 further comprising:
receiving, by the UE, second information including a second plurality of bits, wherein the second plurality of bits indicates a second plurality of time slots that physical shared channel resources are utilized for second signaling channels; and
monitoring, by the UE, the second signaling channels in the indicated second plurality of time slots.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The method of claim 3, wherein the first information is received over a broadcast channel and the second information is received as common configuration information.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 further comprising:
receiving, by the UE, a physical downlink shared channel in an indicated time slot that the UE monitors the first signaling channels.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1 further comprising:
receiving, by the UE, an allocation for a physical downlink shared channel in one or more time slots;
receiving, by the UE, in a control channel an indication that a portion of resources allocated to the physical downlink shared channel in one time slot of the one or more time slots is used by a different channel; and
receiving, by the UE, the physical downlink shared channel in the one time slot.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein the UE avoids processing for physical downlink shared channel data the indicated portion of resources.

### Claim 8 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein the control channel has an identification different than the identification of the UE.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein signaling information determined to be for the UE based on the identification of the UE includes an indication of a time slot and a modulation for a physical downlink shared channel assigned to the UE.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9, wherein the signaling information for the UE includes resources for the physical downlink shared channel assigned to the UE.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the indicated time slots are not consecutive time slots.

### Claim 12

A non-transient computer readable medium comprising program instructions for causing a user equipment (UE) to perform the method of:
receiving first information including a plurality of bits, wherein the plurality of bits indicates a plurality of time slots that physical shared channel resources are utilized for first signaling channels;
monitoring the first signaling channels in the indicated time slots, to determine whether signaling information for the UE is present based on an identification of the UE; and
processing the signaling information in response to the determination that signaling information for the UE is present.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The non-transient computer readable medium of claim 12, wherein the first information is received over a broadcast channel.

### Claim 14 (depends on 12)

The non-transient computer readable medium of claim 12 further comprising instructions for:
receiving second information including a second plurality of bits, wherein the second plurality of bits indicates a second plurality of time slots that physical shared channel resources are utilized for second signaling channels; and
monitoring the second signaling channels in the indicated second plurality of time slots.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The non-transient computer readable medium of claim 14, wherein the first information is received over a broadcast channel and the second information is received as common configuration information.

### Claim 16 (depends on 12)

The non-transient computer readable medium of claim 12 further comprising instructions for:
receiving a physical downlink shared channel in an indicated time slot that the UE monitors the first signaling channels.

### Claim 17 (depends on 12)

The non-transient computer readable medium of claim 12 further comprising instructions for:
receiving an allocation for a physical downlink shared channel in one or more time slots; and
receiving in a control channel an indication that a portion of resources allocated to the physical downlink shared channel in one time slot of the one or more time slots is used by a different channel; and
receiving the physical downlink shared channel in the one time slot.

### Claim 18 (depends on 17)

The non-transient computer readable medium of claim 17, wherein the UE avoids processing for physical downlink shared channel data the indicated portion of resources.

### Claim 19 (depends on 17)

The non-transient computer readable medium of claim 17, wherein the control channel has an identification different than the identification of the UE.

### Claim 20 (depends on 12)

The non-transient computer readable medium of claim 12, wherein signaling information determined to be for the UE based on the identification of the UE includes an indication of a time slot and a modulation for a physical downlink shared channel assigned to the UE.
