## Abstract

A system provides resource monitoring and transmitting electronic alerts using event-based triggers. The system may determine, based on a user's identity, that the user requires additional security and monitoring products and/or services with respect to the user's account. In this regard, the system may continuously monitor the user's activity (e.g., to monitor a resource associated with the user account). The system may further define user events which may trigger the transmission of electronic alerts sent to computing devices of the user and/or third parties associated with the user.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A system for resource monitoring and transmitting electronic alerts using event-based triggers, the system comprising:
a memory device with computer-readable program code stored thereon;
a communication device; and
a processing device operatively coupled to the memory device and the communication device, wherein the processing device is configured to execute the computer-readable program code to:
continuously monitor a user account in real time;
detect a trigger event associated with the user account;
transmit a first notification to a user device associated with the user account; and
transmit a second notification to a third party device associated with the user account.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein continuously monitoring the user account in real time comprises at least one of monitoring devices used to access the user account and geographic location of the devices used to access the user account.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the trigger event is an attempt to access the user account using an unknown device and unusual geographic location.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the first notification comprises a resource transfer amount and location at which the resource transfer was attempted.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the trigger event is a resource transfer request, wherein the computer-readable program code further causes the processing device to:
receive authorization of the resource transfer request from the user device;
receive authorization of the resource transfer request from the third party device; and
based on receiving the authorization of the resource transfer request from the user device and the third party device, process the resource transfer request.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the trigger event is a resource transfer request, wherein the computer-readable program code further causes the processing device to:
receive authorization of the resource transfer request from the third party device; and
based on receiving the authorization of the resource transfer request from the user device and the third party device, process the resource transfer request.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The system according to claim 1, wherein the computer-readable program code further causes the processing device to:
detect a presence of a third party screen sharing application on the user device; and
automatically block resource transfer requests associated with the user account.

### Claim 8

A computer program product for resource monitoring and transmitting electronic alerts using event-based triggers, the computer program product comprising at least one non-transitory computer readable medium having computer-readable program code portions embodied therein, the computer-readable program code portions comprising executable code portions for:
continuously monitoring a user account in real time;
detecting a trigger event associated with the user account;
transmitting a first notification to a user device associated with the user account; and
transmitting a second notification to a third party device associated with the user account.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The computer program product of claim 8, wherein continuously monitoring the user account in real time comprises at least one of monitoring devices used to access the user account and geographic location of the devices used to access the user account.

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

The computer program product of claim 8, wherein the trigger event is an attempt to access the user account using an unknown device and unusual geographic location.

### Claim 11 (depends on 8)

The computer program product of claim 8, wherein the first notification comprises a resource transfer amount and location at which the resource transfer was attempted.

### Claim 12 (depends on 8)

The computer program product of claim 8, wherein the trigger event is a resource transfer request, wherein the computer-readable program code portions further comprise executable code portions for:
receive authorization of the resource transfer request from the user device;
receive authorization of the resource transfer request from the third party device; and
based on receiving the authorization of the resource transfer request from the user device and the third party device, process the resource transfer request.

### Claim 13 (depends on 8)

The computer program product of claim 8, wherein the trigger event is a resource transfer request, wherein the computer-readable program code portions further comprise executable code portions for:
receive authorization of the resource transfer request from the third party device; and
based on receiving the authorization of the resource transfer request from the user device and the third party device, process the resource transfer request.

### Claim 14

A computer-implemented method for resource monitoring and transmitting electronic alerts using event-based triggers, the computer-implemented method comprising:
continuously monitoring a user account in real time;
detecting a trigger event associated with the user account;
transmitting a first notification to a user device associated with the user account; and
transmitting a second notification to a third party device associated with the user account.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The computer-implemented method of claim 14, wherein continuously monitoring the user account in real time comprises at least one of monitoring devices used to access the user account and geographic location of the devices used to access the user account.

### Claim 16 (depends on 14)

The computer-implemented method of claim 14, wherein the trigger event is an attempt to access the user account using an unknown device and unusual geographic location.

### Claim 17 (depends on 14)

The computer-implemented method of claim 14, wherein the first notification comprises a resource transfer amount and location at which the resource transfer was attempted.

### Claim 18 (depends on 14)

The computer-implemented method of claim 14, wherein the trigger event is a resource transfer request, wherein the computer-implemented method further comprises:
receive authorization of the resource transfer request from the user device;
receive authorization of the resource transfer request from the third party device; and
based on receiving the authorization of the resource transfer request from the user device and the third party device, process the resource transfer request.

### Claim 19 (depends on 14)
