The receiver receives data for executing a function of storing specific data in a preset private box. The switcher switches between first and second register modes when the function to be executed by using the data received by the receiver is copied into the image forming device. The first register mode is a mode in which a private box is manually registered in the image forming device. The second register mode is a mode in which a private box is automatically registered in the image forming device. ## Claims ### Claim 1 An image forming device comprising: a receiver that receives data for executing a function of storing specific data in a preset private box; and a switcher that switches between first and second register modes when the function to be executed by using the data received by the receiver is copied into the image forming device, the first register mode being a mode in which a private box is manually registered in the image forming device, the second register mode being a mode in which a private box is automatically registered in the image forming device. ### Claim 2 (depends on 1) The image forming device according to claim 1, wherein the first register mode includes a mode in which the private box is registered exclusively manually and a mode in which the private box is registered manually if a private box having the same number as the private box to be registered exists in the image forming device. ### Claim 3 (depends on 1) The image forming device according to claim 1, wherein the second register mode includes a mode in which if a private box having the same number as the private box to be registered exists in the image forming device, the private box is registered by overwriting the existing private box and a mode in which if a private box having the same number as the private box to be registered exists in the image forming device, the private box is registered in an available number. ### Claim 4 (depends on 1) The image forming device according to claim 1, wherein the switcher switches between the first register mode and the second register mode in accordance with the number of users using an external image forming device from which the function is copied into the image forming device or the number of private boxes registered in the external image forming device. ### Claim 5 (depends on 2) The image forming device according to claim 2, wherein the switcher switches between the first register mode and the second register mode in accordance with the number of users using an external image forming device from which the function is copied into the image forming device or the number of private boxes registered in the external image forming device. ### Claim 6 (depends on 3) The image forming device according to claim 3, wherein the switcher switches between the first register mode and the second register mode in accordance with the number of users using an external image forming device from which the function is copied into the image forming device or the number of private boxes registered in the external image forming device. ### Claim 7 (depends on 4) The image forming device according to claim 4, wherein, if the number of users using the external image forming device is smaller than a predetermined number or if the number of private boxes registered in the external image forming device is smaller than a predetermined number, the switcher selects the first register mode. ### Claim 8 (depends on 4) The image forming device according to claim 4, wherein, if the number of users using the external image forming device is larger than a predetermined number or if the number of private boxes registered in the external image forming device is larger than a predetermined number, the switcher selects the second register mode. ### Claim 9 (depends on 1) The image forming device according to claim 1, wherein the switcher switches between the first register mode and the second register mode in accordance with the number of users using the image forming device or the number of private boxes registered in the image forming device. ### Claim 10 (depends on 2) The image forming device according to claim 2, wherein the switcher switches between the first register mode and the second register mode in accordance with the number of users using the image forming device or the number of private boxes registered in the image forming device. ### Claim 11 (depends on 3) The image forming device according to claim 3, wherein the switcher switches between the first register mode and the second register mode in accordance with the number of users using the image forming device or the number of private boxes registered in the image forming device. ### Claim 12 (depends on 9) The image forming device according to claim 9, wherein, if the number of users using the image forming device is larger than a predetermined number or if the number of private boxes registered in the image forming device is larger than a predetermined number, the switcher selects the first register mode. ### Claim 13 (depends on 9) The image forming device according to claim 9, wherein, if the number of users using the image forming device is smaller than a predetermined number or if the number of private boxes registered in the image forming device is smaller than a predetermined number, the switcher selects the second register mode. ### Claim 14 A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a process, the process comprising: receiving data for executing a function of storing specific data in a preset private box; and switching between first and second register modes when the function to be executed by using the received data is copied into an image forming device, the first register mode being a mode in which a private box is manually registered in the image forming device, the second register mode being a mode in which a private box is automatically registered in the image forming device. ### Claim 15 An image forming device comprising: receiving means for receiving data for executing a function of storing specific data in a preset private box; and switching means for switching between first and second register modes when the function to be executed by using the data received by the receiving means is copied into the image forming device, the first register mode being a mode in which a private box is manually registered in the image forming device, the second register mode being a mode in which a private box is automatically registered in the image forming device.
