## Abstract

Systems and methods for pipe lining systems and methods of use are described. Systems and methods may include a CIPP lateral liner that is inserted into a bladder forming a CIPP liner assembly that can be inserted into a pipe line for a pipe repair. CIPP liner assembly can include a membrane that produces superior results compared to the prior art. A backing ring may be used with these systems and methods.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of positioning a cured-in-place (CIPP) liner on a bladder, the steps comprising:
providing a CIPP liner wherein said CIPP liner comprises a main line liner and a CIPP lateral liner and the CIPP lateral liner is attached to said main line liner, forming a T-shape;
providing a bladder wherein said bladder comprises a main liner bladder and a lateral installation bladder and said lateral installation bladder is attached to said main liner bladder, forming a T-shape;
folding a length of a first end of said CIPP lateral liner in a U-shape;
inserting said U-shaped first end of said CIPP lateral liner into a first end of a lateral installation bladder with a CIPP lateral liner membrane facing an inner diameter of said lateral installation bladder;
positioning said CIPP lateral liner and said lateral installation liner inside of said main liner bladder;
wrapping said main line liner comprising a felt layer and a membrane around said main liner bladder so that said membrane is facing an outer diameter of said main liner bladder; and
securing said main line liner to said bladder.

### Claim 2 (depends on 16)

The method of claim 16, wherein said CIPP lateral liner further comprises a CIPP lateral liner felt layer.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, further comprising a step of impregnating said CIPP lateral liner felt layer with a resin prior to inserting said CIPP lateral liner into said lateral installation bladder.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The method of claim 3, wherein said impregnating step comprises a step of sealing an end of said lateral liner prior to administering said resin into an interior of an inner space formed by said felt layer of said lateral liner.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The method of claim 4, wherein said impregnating step comprises a step of inserting said resin into said interior space formed by said felt layer of said lateral liner.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The method of claim 5, wherein the impregnating step comprises a step of applying a vacuum to said CIPP lateral liner prior to impregnating said CIPP lateral liner felt layer with said resin, wherein the vacuum removes air from inside said lateral liner causing said resin to impregnate and saturate said lateral liner felt layer.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising the step of impregnating said felt layer of said main line liner with a resin prior to wrapping said main line liner around said main liner bladder.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The method of claim 7, wherein the impregnating step further comprises folding said main line liner felt layer inward to create a an internal space with said main line liner membrane facing outward.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The method of claim 8, wherein the impregnating step further comprises a step of applying an amount of resin to said internal space, and a step of sealing ends of said internal space formed by folding main line liner felt layer.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The method of claim 9, wherein the impregnating step further comprises a step of applying a vacuum to remove said internal space formed by folding said main line liner felt layer, wherein said vacuum removes air from inside said internal space formed by folding said main line liner felt layer causing resin to impregnate and saturate said main line liner felt layer.
