## Abstract

An aqueous ink composition for ink jet textile printing contains: lithium ions; sodium ions; and a dye in which a plurality of ligands represented by any of formula (1), formula (2), and formula (3) coordinate to a metal atom.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An aqueous ink composition for ink jet textile printing comprising:
lithium ions;
sodium ions; and
a dye in which a plurality of ligands represented by any of the following formula (1), formula (2), and formula (3) coordinate to a metal atom:
wherein:
X represents a coordinated metal atom;
R1 is selected from H and SO3Z;
a plurality of R1 may be the same or different from each other;
at least one of R1 is SO3Z; and
Z is at least one selected from a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an alkaline earth atom, and ammonium,
wherein:
X is a coordinated metal atom;
R2, R3, and R4 are each independently selected from H and SO3Z; and
Z is at least one selected from a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an alkaline earth atom, and ammonium,
wherein:
X is a coordinated metal atom;
R5 is selected from H, NO2, an alkyl group having 1 or more and 3 or less carbon atoms, Cl, and SO3Z;
n is an integer of 1 or more and 4 or less;
when a plurality of R5 exist, a plurality of R5 may be the same or different from each other;
R6 is selected from H, CH3, and SO3Z;
R7 is selected from H, NO2, Cl, and SO3Z;
at least one of R5, R6, and R7 is SO3Z; and
Z is at least one selected from a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an alkaline earth atom, and ammonium.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The aqueous ink composition for ink jet textile printing according to claim 1, wherein
the dye is selected from: a dye in which two ligands represented by formula (1) coordinate to the metal atom; a dye in which one ligand represented by formula (2) and one ligand represented by formula (3) coordinate to the metal atom; and a dye in which two ligands represented by formula (3) coordinate to the metal atom.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The aqueous ink composition for ink jet textile printing according to claim 1, wherein
a concentration ratio of the lithium ions to the sodium ions (Li+/Na+) is 0.01 or more and 0.6 or less.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The aqueous ink composition for ink jet textile printing according to claim 1, wherein
the metal atom is a chromium atom.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The aqueous ink composition for ink jet textile printing according to claim 1, further comprising
one or more of a lactam and a polyol as organic solvents.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The aqueous ink composition for ink jet textile printing according to claim 1, wherein
a content of the dye is 2.0% by mass or more and 8.0% by mass or less based on a total amount of the ink composition.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The aqueous ink composition for ink jet textile printing according to claim 1, wherein
an object on which textile printing is performed is a nylon fabric or a nylon/urethane blended fabric.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

An ink jet textile printing method comprising
discharging, from an ink jet head, the aqueous ink composition for ink jet textile printing according to claim 1, thereby attaching to a nylon fabric or a nylon/urethane blended fabric.
