Abstract
A time information transmission method and an apparatus are provided. A specific solution including: generating and sending first information whose indication granularity is less than or equal to 5 milliseconds, where the first information is used to indicate time information of a first reference point. The embodiments of this application are useable in a time synchronization process between the terminal device and the network device.

An apparatus, comprising:
- a processor;
- an interface circuit, wherein the processor is coupled to the interface circuit, and the interface circuit is configured to communicate with another apparatus;
- and
- a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program to be executed by the processor, the program including instructions for:
- generating first information, wherein the first information indicates time information of a first reference point, an indication granularity of the first information is less than or equal to 5 milliseconds, and the indication granularity of the first information is Q*10 nanoseconds, and wherein Q is a positive integer;
- and
- sending the first information.
