Abstract
The invention relates to a method for machining a stator opening of a stator and a bearing opening of an electromechanical converter, in particular an electric motor, the method comprising the steps of honing the stator opening using a honing tool and machining, preferably honing, the bearing opening.

A method for machining a stator opening of a stator and a bearing opening of an electromechanical converter, the method comprising the steps of honing the stator opening using a honing tool and machining the bearing opening, characterized in that a tool for machining the bearing opening is aligned coaxially with the stator opening during the machining of the bearing opening via a centering device which engages in the stator opening, or in that the honing tool for honing the stator opening is aligned coaxially with the bearing opening via a centering device which engages in the bearing opening.
